For Christmas last year my incredibly creative mother made playhouses for the grandchildren. They sit over a card table so I love the fact that Lucy can use it for a house, or I can use it to do a puzzle.
Lucy wasn't quite old enough to appreciate hers until a few months ago, but its certainly one of the favorite things in her room now.

Each family's was different and since Lucy doesn't have to share it with a bother, hers got to be adorably girlie. It is covered in colorful butterflies, has sweet lace over the window and rainbow rickrack around the door.
The window often peeks her curiosity...
But might need a repair in the near future.
