Hiring another defensive coordinator seems odd to me (I don't care how good Utah's defense is. Kyle Whittingham is a defensive genius). We'll find out next year if this was the right move. Mr. Andersen, you had better win six games in your first season. And, when you do, send a thank-you note to Brent Guy for leaving you with a good team.

the HJ reported it yesterday, too, so it must be even true-er. the only thing i knew about gary andersen before his name was thrown into all this talk? ...hmmmmmmm, not much. wasn't there a kicker named gary anders-something (-en or -on? i don't know).
i am glad to know that he has a great reputation as being one heck of a recruiter. finally! we have somebody who can recruit. i heard his salary will be above $300,000 a year! OK, that's pocket change for some college coaches, but not USU. where is that money coming from? maybe it'll cost $70 to see a game next year. i hope he can win, but, of course, if he does win... how long will he be around? ...and the cycle continues.
