On Tuesday, my brother and sister-in-law invited us to the Zoo! We joined their friend Kevin, and the PauleVeesians (my brother Paul's family) at about 1:00 and saw the whole thing! We missed Sammy but we took lots of pictures for him.
This giraffe is kindly standing right by the ruler. If you can't see, it's 14 feet tall!
This little guy is the same age as our three little triplets.
Paul knew about an extra road that looks empty, but takes you past the top of the tiger cage where they like to hide. We got real close to this sleeping pair.
We had to take several bottle and diaper-changing breaks but I think the kids had a great time. We had all the granddaughters together for the afternoon. It hasn't nor will happen much since two live in Hawaii and the other will move to Texas in August. :(
The weather was perfect with a nice breeze going all day so we didn't get too hot and Mark even bought us some ice cream.
We were both exhausted but the end of the day, but we had a wonderful time. Thanks again, Mar'n'Stac!
