The Beach!

What a good-lookin group of people.

Well, sort of...

Two weeks ago, my parents rented a cabin at Bear Lake for our 3rd Biennial Bondage Camp (long story). It seems odd to call it a cabin -- it was a mansion: 9 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, two-story playroom with a ground-level trampoline, slides by the stairs to each level, two ovens, a pool table, a stadium home theater... It was incredible. With such a large family there are few places we all fit comfortably all together. We probably won't ever be able to afford something like this again, but it was sooo worth it. While we were there Lucy got to go to the beach for the first time. She was a little wary of the moving water at first but after she got used to it I think she really liked it. We helped her walk around in the water as we didn't think she'd react well to a face plunge into the cold water.


Lucy had just caught a cold and started teething a few days earlier so we didn't stay long. Hopefully, we will be able to go to the beach again this year when she's feeling better, eh Sammy, pleeease?

We were able to keep the sand consumption to a minimum but her diaper was still full of sand when we got back to the cabin - comes with the territory, right?
