Not quite the ER

   Last night Lucy gave us our first real scare with her. She decided to touch an oven burner right after Sammy took dinner off the stove.

   We took her to Instacare and they were able to give her some fancy numbing cream so she calmed right down. The burns are small and only on the tips of 3 fingers but there are bad 2nd degree burns and we have to follow up with the UofU Burn Center to make sure nothing more needs to be done.

   She is doing really well and was jabbering away in the car on the way home about the "doccer" and how dark it was outside. We finally got her into bed just before 10 and she woke up this morning just as chipper as ever. Luckily she is right-handed so she hasn't been too bothered by the bandage yet, and it's pink so it matches most of her wardrobe.
