Our landlords must have a cruel sense of humor - since them promising to fix several broken/leaky things and let us borrow their space heater must have been an early April Fool's joke. I called them Monday about: a broken heater (about the fourth time), a leaky facet (the third time), and a flooding outside stairwell (second time). At least our disposal is working for the moment and the heater handy man came by Tuesday to look at our heater, AGAIN. He told us our filter was dirty this time and we need to change it every month. Our landlords brought us a new one, Sammy put it in, and... the heater still doesn't work. The thermostat is continuously 6 or more degrees below what we set it at.
This is a picture of our, rather unsightly, stairwell with a bunch of dead leaves and what looks like a tumble weed in the puddle over the clogged drain.

To be fair they are usually quick to come fix things, and they are really nice people. I just wish we didn't have SO many problems with our apartment. We've only been here 8 months and we've had more problems with this place than 3 times our other two apartments combined which we were in the other 2 and a half years of our marriage. I'd rather not move, since we're finally settled in our ward and have such nice neighbors, but our lease is up in August and it doesn't look like we'll renew.
